The discovery of something beautiful
As most of you do not know about me, I have always had a distinct hatred of anime or manga. Even deeper than this, I hated yaoi, the anime and manga that focuses on homosexual relations. Believe me, I’ve been open with my sexuality since I was 15. I, however, always thought that this was pushing my sexuality to the limits to appreciate something that was animated and focused on adult themes.
Now I felt this way for a while, but then I was introduced to the world of Junjou Romantica. This is, by far, one of the most brilliant and enticing pieces of art I’ve ever had the privilege to experience. From the dialogue to the monologues, I’ve falled head over heels for this series.
Many of my posted quotes in the future will come from this beautiful show/manga, as I find the message behind each act and episode to be heartfelt and completely deep. So get excited, kiddos. We’re gonna experience whatever JR has to give us together, and I hope you enjoy.
